Ever wonder what HBK's SummerSlam tank top means? Leading into SummerSlam in 2002, the wrestling industry celebrated the return of Shawn Michaels to the ring after a near 5 year hiatus. But what was up with that tank top?

Many people wondered if Shawn could still “go”. We wondered if he would have ring rust to shake off. By the end of the night, we learned that not only was Shawn Michaels back, but that he was still the one and only Showstopper, as he and Triple H stole the show in one of the best, aggressive and violent battles ever seen in the squared circle.
That night, Michaels came to the ring in his typical, grand flourish. However, for arguably the first time ever in the industry, a professional wrestler wore Biblical scripture on his shirt. All eyes were on him, and Shawn took full advantage of that. Although most people were talking about the match itself days (and years) later, they were also buzzing about his entrance attire. Just what does Phillippians 4:13 mean?
In the New International Version (NIV), it reads as: “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength”.
Shawn was coming off of a 5 year break from the ring, and it’s reasonable to assume that Shawn’s newly found spiritual faith was playing a huge role in his decision to get back in the ring.
What can YOU do with God’s strength?
